Tiafoe on Musetti: "We're Going To Have Many Battles For Years To Come."

When Frances Tiafoe and Lorenzo Musetti met in Forli, Italy, two weeks ago, the 22-year-old found himself under attack from the start.

Carrying the momentum from a breakthrough run at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Rome, the 18-year-old Musetti employed an all-out assault of backhand winners, drop shots and dominant serving. Tiafoe had no answer in what was his first clay-court match in more than a year.

Two weeks later, the Maryland native ensured that history wouldn’t repeat itself. Same stage, same round, same surface, different result. Tiafoe drew level with Musetti with a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 win in Parma on Wednesday. He needed one hour and 42 minutes to secure the second-round victory at the Internazionali di Tennis Emilia Romagna.

After their second ATP Challenger Tour encounter, Tiafoe was already looking ahead to what he expects will be a long rivalry.

Check Out These Gorgeous Screenshots of Destiny 2: Beyond Light’s New Exotics

Destiny 2 continues to be one of the most beautiful games out there, even now over six years since the original game’s release. With a next-gen and a new expansion on the way, nothing appears to be stopping Destiny 2 from continuing to look objectively pretty.

The new exotics revealed today not only have very cool sounding perks, they are also among the prettiest and sickest added to the game so far.

All three classes are getting a new exotic helmet and gauntlet armor, and there are at least four new exotic weapons that will be obtainable as well. I’m not sure if any of them are tied to the raid, but if I had to take it guess it’s that Stasis-themed grenade launcher.

Although it’s definitely looks sweet, hopefully I’m wrong and there’s a yet to be revealed weapon out there because more is always better.

Anyway I’m getting … Read the rest

In their Hamburg final, Tsitsipas served for the championship, but Rublev rallied for the trophy and a 2-1 lead in their ATP Head2Head series. They played on multiple occasions in the juniors six years ago, clashed in a five-set thriller at the 2018 Next Gen ATP Finals and now they will meet once more for a spot in a major semi-final.

Preview: Nadal Ready For ‘Big Challenge’ Against Sinner

For 15 years, Rafael Nadal’s 2005 Roland Garros efforts marked the last time a tournament debutant advanced to the last eight in Paris. With a place in this year’s semi-finals on the line, the Spaniard will face the man who ended that drought on Sunday: Jannik Sinner.

The reigning Next Gen ATP Finals champion has made his mark this year in Paris, beating two Top 15 stars en route to his first Grand Slam quarter-final. At last year’s Roland Garros, Sinner wasn’t ranked highly enough to gain entry into qualifying.

Sinner has dropped just one set in the French capital, beating David Goffin, Benjamin Bonzi, Federico Coria and Alexander Zverev to book a first ATP Head2Head meeting against Nadal. The 19-year-old has already made an impression on Nadal, with whom he practised before the tournament.

“[Jannik] is young, he’s improving every single week. So he’s playing better and better and … Read the rest

Apex Legends Aftermarket Patch Buffs Pathfinder, Adds Caustic Heirloom

Respawn recently revealed that a new event is coming to Apex Legends this week. The Aftermarket Collection event starts tomorrow, Oct. 5, alongside the Flashpoint LTM and the crossplay beta. Today, they’ve shared the patch notes for tomorrow’s Apex Legends update.

The patch notes go over everything you’ll need to know about the Aftermarket Collection update, including buffs, nerfs, and other gameplay adjustments.

The most notable Legend changes are for Bloodhound, Wraith, and Pathfinder. Bloodhound’s Tactical now has an eight-second cooldown during their Ultimate, and Wraith has new running animations that correct issues that used to make her harder to hit.

Pathfinder mains will really appreciate these Apex Legends patch notes. His Tactical cooldown now directly correlates to the distance that he zips. Basically, if you zip/grapple into a faceplant by accident, your cooldown will be shorter. The 35-second cooldown still applies to longer grapples, though.

Karen Khachanov has stunned Novak Djokovic on one of tennis’ biggest stages, upsetting the Serbian in the 2018 Rolex Paris Masters final. But will the big-hitting Russian be able to replicate that feat in his fourth-round match against the World No. 1 on Monday at Roland Garros?

“What happened in the past, it’s already in the books. But every new match is a new challenge, new opportunity,” Khachanov said. “Maybe mentally you know that you beat him in this particular match, [so] for sure it gives you the confidence inside to know that you’ve done it already at least once.

“[The] deeper you go, [the] tougher the opponents you face. This is what it’s all about.”

Djokovic leads their ATP Head2Head series 3-1 and this will be their first clash on clay. The top seed has only lost 15 games through three matches in his pursuit of an 18th Grand … Read the rest
